Nancie L. Edgren has over fourteen years of experience in civil litigation, mostly concentrating in complex personal injury matters, including medical malpractice, automobile accidents and premises liability involving death and serious injury. Nancie has successfully tried, mediated and/or settled over 75 personal injury cases. She also has extensive experience in handling landlord/tenant summary process eviction matters in the Housing and District Courts. Nancie also has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in employment and discrimination claims before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD), Superior Court, District Court, Housing Court, City of Cambridge Human Rights Commission, City of Boston Fair Housing Commission, and the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts. She obtained a significant judgment against defendants in a sexual harassment claim before the MCAD. In addition to a successful jury verdict in an automobile accident case, Nancie's trial experience also includes trying a novel case involving ownership rights of human reproductive cells, representing the family of a 38 year old man killed at a race track in a two week trial at Middlesex Superior Court, and a three day divorce trial. Nancie also has experience representing buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions. Currently, she is of counsel, representing and advising both defendants and plaintiffs in a variety of litigation matters.
