Residential real estate transactions is one of Julie’s areas of expertise.  She assists buyers and sellers at all phases of the transaction.  Whether it is helping prepare an Offer to Purchase, obtain financing, evaluate home inspection results, working to negotiate and prepare the Purchase and Sale Agreement and accompanying Rider provisions, or helping to coordinate the sale of one home and purchase of another, Julie guides her clients through the process and works hard to protect their interests.  Her approach is typically “hands on,” given her construction law background and experience operating her own real estate investment company.  By bringing both legal and practical knowledge to the table, Julie helps make the process more enjoyable and informative for her clients.

Julie believes that maintaining communication with her client’s realtor is critical to providing effective representation.  Working together as a team keeps everyone informed throughout the transaction and the allows the client to benefit from the realtor’s and attorney’s combined knowledge and expertise.  Julie also believes in consulting with professionals in other industries where necessary to help her clients make informed decisions, such as builders and other construction professionals, engineers, mortgage lenders and town officials.
